Spain: Public Healthcare System / project cover

It's a masters project worked under Fujitsu and IED, Barcelona. Copyrighted.

The Problem

Cognitive load is the core stressor: it drove 67% of caregivers needing coordination support, 80% of appointments left terms unexplained, and admin cost 249 hours a year.

The Research

I led caregiver research and usability testing, 14 participants across 5 flows, building personas, ethnographic maps and a future-state journey, presented to a Fujitsu stakeholder.

The Design

We co-designed three features: smart appointment scheduling, jargon-free AI-translated visit summaries, and a child-friendly AI story generator.

The Outcome

Usability testing validated all three features above 4.0/5 (sharing 4.8, summary clarity 4.6), informing a roadmap targeting an 80%+ comprehension lift.
